Our Story

Pastor Michael Montague has been preaching since he could speak, but shared his first sermon as a teen. He started serving in ministry in 2006 as a youth pastor after meeting his now wife, Teale.  They were married in 2010. Shortly after, he felt a call to do more and began a small ministry in his grandmother’s living room that has been growing ever since.

Pastor Michael was raised in Wakulla county and naturally felt drawn to serve the people in his home town. After several different church locations, Authentic Life Church finally opened its doors in Crawfordville, FL in 2014.

Since we opened our doors in 2014, we have undergone many changes. However, passion for community, both inside and outside the church, has remained constant. We are dedicated to helping those who are lost and broken, and to meet the needs of the people in our community. At Authentic Life Church, you will find a welcoming and inclusive environment that embraces everyone.

Building a Strong Foundation for the Community through Authentic Life Church We believe our church will be a cornerstone of this community, and we have a strong vision to meet its needs. Right now, we are focused on providing more than just food through our food pantry. We're working hard to raise funds to expand our resources to better serve the community.  We are honored to be vessels for Jesus.
