WAKULLA MISSIONS

ALC FOOD PANTRY...

Authentic Life Church Food Pantry is a non-profit organization that was established in June 2021 to help tackle local food insecurity. Our partnership with Second Harvest of the Big Bend provides approximately 70% of the products we have in the pantry. The remaining 30% is either donated or bought locally. Donations of non-perishable food, as well as male or female hygiene products are always welcome. Our Food Pantry operates as a "CHOICE" food pantry, meaning that each client comes into our pantry and can choose what they need and what they know they will use. We take time to speak with each family, pray with them, and offer resources we may have available. We are proud to serve around 80-100 families each month and are open on the 1st & 2nd Saturday of each month from 9 am-12 pm. Our Food Pantry has blossomed into so much more than just a pantry; it's a ministry that allows us to build relationships with our community and show them the love of Jesus.

ALC PUMPKIN PATCH...

Authentic Life Pumpkin Patch is an annual event that was established in 2017 and has become a beloved event in the community. Our patch is open during the last two weeks of October, offering over a thousand carving pumpkins, as well as many smaller and unique pumpkins. The profit we make from this fundraiser is put directly into our Food Pantry to help us sustain filling our shelves throughout the year. We love this opportunity to meet our community, share our love for fall, and highlight the joy of seed and harvest.

LOCAL VETERANS...

We believe it is important to show our appreciation and support for those who have served our country. The sacrifices made by these brave men and women have allowed us to enjoy the freedoms and opportunities that we have today.
We take pride in preparing delicious and nutritious meals for the veterans, knowing that it is an opportunity for them to enjoy a home-cooked meal and spend time with fellow veterans.
Similarly, the annual veterans day parade is an important event in our community. We wake up early to prepare breakfast for the veterans and their families, which is served hot and fresh as they prepare for the parade. It is always heartwarming to see the veterans' faces light up with joy and appreciation for the breakfast and support.
We will continue to support and honor our veterans in any way we can, and we encourage others to do the same. These small gestures can make a huge impact in the lives of those who have given so much for our country.

Panacea Outreach...

It all started with a few individuals at our church who felt called to make a difference. We began by riding the streets of Panacea, praying for the residents. This simple act of faith then turned into walking and "claiming territory for the kingdom." As time passed, we decided to organize outreach events such as block parties in various locations, all with the goal of sharing the love of Jesus with those around us. Through this journey, we have encountered incredible individuals that we may never have met if we hadn't been obedient to the calling.

SERVOLUTION...

At ALC, the act of serving our community in the name of Jesus is our top priority. We call this mission "servolution," and it's at the heart of everything we do here at Wakulla Missions. Our goal is to spread the love of Jesus far and wide, and we welcome everyone to join us in this endeavor. There's so much more to our mission than listed on this page, and we would be honored to have you be a part of it.
